No. A Simple4U account and installing an app are not required. On Pro and during the trial, the tutor can connect the student to the Telegram bot via a personal link. Lesson reminders, schedule changes, balance details, and receipts are available there.
A Honorarnote is usually used for services already delivered and may include dates of completed lessons. For prepaid packages, a Zahlungsbestätigung is more suitable — confirmation that payment was received, without listing future lessons. Simple4U supports both scenarios and helps prepare the matching document.
Templates cover typical invoice details required under § 11 UStG for Rechnungen. For Kleinunternehmer, the relevant VAT-exemption wording may be shown. Exact requirements depend on the taxpayer’s situation, so Simple4U does not replace tax advice.
Balances are closed FIFO: when you top up, the earliest unpaid lessons are applied first. Their status then updates automatically. If Telegram is connected, the student also receives the current remaining balance.
In Finance you can review payments actually received for a selected period and use that data for your own bookkeeping and filing prep. How income must be reported on a tax return depends on each user’s situation. Simple4U does not provide tax advice.

Simple4U uses infrastructure oriented toward EU data-protection requirements. Documents can be downloaded as PDF and kept in your own archive. Retention periods and methods are set by applicable law and depend on the user’s situation. Details on data processing are in the Privacy Policy.
